Star Trek: Eras

Helmsman
Ensign Lack entered the Bridge of
the Enterprise NX-01 to take over the Helm for his shift. Travis Maywheather stood up for him: "There you go, it's all yours." Lack sat down: "Yes!" He was excited because this would be his second time at the Helm of Enterprise. Captain Archer entered the Bridge and took a seat in his chair, sipping his coffee. Lack turned around: "Great day to be exploring space, eh Captain?" He made conversation. Archer: "Uhh... yes. Yes it is... umm..." He opted for his name. Lack: "Ensign Lack, sir! It is a pleasure working for you, the man to usher in a new era for mankind." Archer just chuckles at that notion. Lack: "I mean, you're the greatest man to ever live! How does that feel?" Archer: "Well I wouldn't---" Lack: "Did you know that there are girls on the ship who have posters of you up on their wall? ---And there's this new religious group on Earth that's praising you as their all powerful God?" Archer: "No, I didn't---" Lack: "Hey would you adopt me as the child you never had!?" Archer: "Listen, Ensign. Why don't you just turn around and fly the ship?" Lack: "Yes sir!" He turns around. This is so great, he thinks as he taps at buttons. Lack: "Captain! We're under attack from a Klingon Ship!" Archer, stands up: "Battlestations!" Lack: "Aahahahah! Just kidding. I wanted to see how you'd react." Archer just looks at him. Lack: "Hahaha! You should see the look on your face. Archer continues to stare at him, angry. Lack: "Yeah, that's the one. Hahahaha!" Archer, walks over: "That's it. You're confined to Quarters!" Lack: "Hahaha! That's a good one!" Archer grabs him, picking him up to his feet: "I mean it, Ensign!" Lack: "Huh? You're not joking, are you?" Archer: "I hardly think so... Ensign!" Lack: "But, I thought we were getting along so well?" Archer: "Frankly, I find you a nuisance, and you shouldn't be flying a Starship. I don't even know how you got through the Academy!" Lack, starts crying: "Why are you so mean?? I thought you were such a nice guy. I have posters of you in my Quarters... and a shrine, and everything---" Archer: "Just go!!" He shoves him along. Lack just walks with his head down towards the turbolift, feeling sad. Archer glances at Hoshi, who doesn't approve of his behaviour. Archer glances down and then back at Lack before he enters the turbolift. Archer: "Wait... I'm... sorry I yelled at you." Lack runs over and hugs Archer in happiness: "I knew it! Thanks Captain!" Archer, pushes him away: "Let go of me!" Lack, is happy again: "I knew it Captain. You're not mean... Oh my God." He points to a corner of the Bridge. "It's a cloaked Suliban!" Archer turns around: "Where!?" Archer finds nothing back there. Lack: "Aaahahaha! I got you again! Hahaha!" Archer shoves Lack along and into the turbolift: "Get going!" The turbolift doors close, with Lack confused: "Captain?" Archer turns around and heads for his chair, rubbing his forehead. He suddenly bumps into Lack. Archer: "Aahh! How did you get there--?" Lack: "Jeez, Captain. You look like you've got a really bad headache. Let me help you to your chair." He tries helping the Captain along, who just struggles to not touch him. Archer: "I can get to my own chair!" Archer takes a seat. "Will you please just leave the Bridge?" Lack: "Alright. But I'm not leaving until someone else takes over the Helm." Archer: "I'll take over the Helm." Lack: "You have a headache. You can't." Archer: "No, I'm fine, really." Archer gets up and goes over to the Helm. "See? Just go. Heh, heh. Don't worry about it." Lack: "Alright..." Lack watches the Captain suspiciously while walking towards the turbolift doors. Archer makes sure Lack has left on the turbolift this time. He turns to look back at the Helm controls, a little confused. Reed: "Are you okay sir?" Archer: "Yeah. I just can't believe that guy. I thought I picked every crewmember carefully before we left spacedock." He tries messing with the controls. Lack: "No! What are you doing!?" Archer finds Lack standing behind him: "Aahh!!" He jumps. Lack: "That's not how you use the Helm!" Archer: "How'd you--!?" Lack: "Captain!? Are you stressed again? Do you want me to get you wet towel for that forehead?" He starts massaging Archer's shoulders. Archer gets up quickly: "No! Listen, you just take the Helm. I'm-- going--- to my Quarters. I'll confine myself. You have the Bridge, Trip." Trip takes the Captain's chair slowly and confused, watching Archer make a run for the tubolift. Lack: "Poor guy. It must be all the hero worship." Lack just takes the Helm. |

Ensign Lack entered the Bridge of first Enterprise. He had a padd to give to Kirk. Kirk: "Thank you, Ensign." Starfleet was a great career plan, as his grandfather before him served aboard the first experimental Starship Enterprise, he himself desired the same direction to be in space. Lack: "You're welcome, Captain. Is there anything I can get you?" Kirk: "No, thank you." Lack turned to walk away, but stopped as he noticed a switch that was not right, at the Helm. He flicked it. Sulu: "What do you think you are doing!?" Lack: "Sorry, sir! But that just had to be flipped." Kirk, sat up: "Thank you, Ensign. You may leave the Bridge now." Lack, nods: "As you wish, sir." Spock was peering through his goggle monitor when he suddenly noticed Lack was standing beside him: "May I help you, Ensign?" Lack: "Sir, the energy output from that scanner is too high. You could get a tumor!" Spock: "I do not believe so, Ensign. Vulcans are highly resilient against this type of energy output." Lack: "Hey, you're a Vulcan? That is so cool!" Kirk gets up: "Ensign! Leave the Bridge immediately." Lack: "Captain! Did you know that he was a Vulcan? I can't believe it! And here I just thought his ears were deformed from birth. --My cousin Tracy had that same problem." Kirk, walks over: "I don't care. I gave you a direct order." Lack: "Alright, alright. At least you're not ragging on my decision to be in space." Kirk: "I don't care! Leave. Now!" Lack: "You don't care? ...I spent five years at the Academy. I put so much work into being on the Enterprise." He starts crying. Lack: "It's all a waste!" Kirk: "Err... At attention, Ensign!!" Lack stands up straight. Kirk: "You will not cry on the Enterprise. That is a direct order! You will feel better and you will not think all your effort is a waste!" Lack, flicks the last tear out his eye: "Thank you Captain." Kirk takes his seat: "Now if you must stay on the Bridge, then please just don't cry." Lack: "Yes sir!" He goes over to the Captain's side, where McCoy usually stands. McCoy walks over: "What the hell? This is my spot!" Lack: "Sorry, Doctor, the Captain depends on my help now." McCoy, yells at Kirk: "I treat your motion sickness and this is what I get!?" He leaves in anger. |

Working Lieutenant Lack entered the Bridge of the USS Enterprise-D with Geordi. He had become a spacefarring Federation Officer as his grandfather before him. Picard: "What are you smiling on about?" Lack: "Nothing sir..." He keeps smiling. Picard: "What is it?" Lack, gives in: "Spacefarring, sometimes I think of spacefarting. Haha! That's so funny." The viewscreen showed a Planet. The Enterprise was working with it, to stop flocks of parasites from taking over. Worf: "Captain. If we emit a low-band fanned phaser beam along the surface. That should terminate the parasites." Picard: "Geordi, you and Lieutenant Lack get to work on the stabilizing field." Geordi: "Yes, Captain." Lack: "Oh, I already did it." Riker: "You've already completed the stabilizing procedure?" Lack: "Yeah, I did it at lunch." Data, turns around in his chair: "An adjustment of that magnitude would take several hours." Lack: "Whatever Data. You're just an Android." Picard: "I beg your pardon?" Lack: "Haha! Just kidding. You know me and Data are best buds." Data: "I do not recall ever spending any leisure time with you." Lack: "Well, I was going to get around to it. Hey you wanna go for a holodeck game? Sherlock Holmes? I can teach you about the concept of laughter." Picard: "Mr. Lack, you are wasting our time with this pointless drivel." Riker: "Please leave the Bridge. I want to speak to you after." Lack: "You know, you don't have to be his servant. You can think for yourself Commander." Riker: "Excuse me?" Lack leans near Troi's seat: "So... you doing anything tonight?" Troi: "Actually, I am." Lack: "Maybe you and me could... do a little counseling?" Troi: "I said, I was busy." Lack: "Oh sorry about that." The Enterprise continues its beam across the Planet. But Lack sits at the back of the Bridge, playing Solitare on the computer. Lack: "Yes! I won!!" Worf, walks over: "You were asked to leave the Bridge." Lack: "Yeah... but... I won?" Worf picks Lack up and shoves him into the Turbolift. Lack: "I'll see you later best bud, Data!" The doors close on him. Data just looks around confused: "Curious... Spacefarting?" |

Blade of Fear
Star Trek: Blade of Fear
Part I
Kurin slammed a fighting stick onto his opponent's in combat. The impact met unto accuracy. Both combatents had been battling for at least two hours on the Holodeck, until Morkren leaped up over Kurin and whacked his weapon accross Kurin's face and chest.
The younger opponent was sent back and the computer had called a victory for the fighting master.
"Ugh!" Kurin hit the ground hard, letting go of his weapon.
Morken, an older man with a lifetime full of experience, walked over and offered his hand, "You need some work, Kurin."
"It hasn't been easy," Kurin said as he was helped to his feet. "The Captain has got us researching the Na'khul as much as possible lately. But there's practically nothing in the database on them."
The old man nodded, "Do not say I didn't warn you."
"Yeah, yeah," Kurin replied, "I know, you came highly recommended by Lieutenant Commander Rune. His training methods may be unorthidox, but they are interesting. It's just starting to seem like he's expecting to bring us on a dangerous mission or something."
Both men stood within an ancient room setting, built out of wood and paper doors - a simulation created by the Holodeck computers. "That's enough," Morken interrupted. "Irritation clouds the mind."
Kurin nodded and they both left the Holodeck. For the past month or so, a group of chosen Officer's on the refitted U.S.S. Bozeman had been training in combat skills. Security Officer Rune was a student of martial arts, and since being chosen to create his own Away Team, he had decided to involve officer's with the slightest hint of identical interest. Ensign Kurin was one of these people.
"How are they coming along?" Rune asked, in the Briefing Room.
Morken leaned against his cane as he stared out the window in awe of the stars, "Everyone's progress has been exemplary."
"Good," Rune nodded as he walked over next to the old man. "Because I'm afriad we've run out of time."
Just then, the alert lights on the walls of the Briefing Room began flashing red. Out the window the two of them could see an appearing Alien Ship. It seemed to arrive in a hazy confusion of corrupted space.
"Hail them!" Captain Bateson yelled all but too late.
The distorted area of space had been tearing apart for the last two months. They knew the visitors would be coming in the next few days. It was just unfortunate that back-up wasn't scheduled to arrive until tomorrow, too late.
"There's no response!" Rune called back as a large torpedo had impacted the ship. Rune wasn't as familliar with the vessel, since he was merely a temporary replacement for the other Tactical Officer who was on another assignment. But there was nothing that could defend futuristic weaponry such as this.
The Bozeman returned fire, without wait. Torpedo after torpedo slammed against the Na'khul shields, causing minimal damage. Fortunately, such a defense had been anticipated, and one of the torpedo's had been modified. When the Bozeman fired it, an opening was torn in the shielding for just a moment.
"Rune, gather the Away Team and beam over immediately," the Captain ordered. "It looks like our theories were right."
The months-long distortion had left enough clues for any intelligent Federation Starship to figure out what was coming. Although nothing could have readied them for what was onboard.
The Away Team re-materialized onto the Na'Khul Starship Gohent. The Humans were ready and fully equipped. One Officer had begun scanning the ship with a tricorder and leading the Team down the hallway. They were in search of a way to destroy the ship.
Na'Khul, Ensign Kurin thought, According to the database, they were a time-travelling species with a possible vendetta against the Federation. Nothing more was mentioned. How they knew about them, or what other encounters there had been in the past. Nothing. More research into the Na'khul is underway. That's all else the database had said.
"So a species with from the future, who hate us, are attacking in the past," Kurin said to himself as he ran down the corridor. "How we even stand a chance, I don't know."

Star Trek: Returner
![]() ----- Out in the emptiness of space, sparked a most unfamiliar blue light. Before no time, that light exploded into a vortex-trailing Timeship. Such a Timeship, labeled the Returner, dragged into space as rough as possible until it came to a semi-stop. The Returner floated through space, with pieces of the ship drifting along side it. Inside, were two Human occupants whom miraculously survived. "Ugh!!" The first Human, roughly in his late-20's, got up in smoking clothes. The second Human, shorter and in his late 70's struggled to a chair at their very small Bridge. "Are you alright back there, Lei?" He asked in his shaky voice. "I'm okay, thanks..." Lei replied in pain. He struggled over to the chair next to the old man and sat down. "What happened?" The Old Man tapped at a few hovering control buttons and checked the ship. "We crashed! Well, I guess this means I'm going to have to fix it." He slowly got up and started making way around broken debris to the back door of the Control Bridge. "Wait!" Lei got up and ran after him, "Do you even know how to fix a Timeship? I mean this thing is from the 30th Century right?" "I'll figure something out. I'm not totally useless, you know." "But where are we?" Lei asked. "I dunno. Check the sensors or something! If you need me I'll be in the Engine Room," he stepped through the swooshing doors grumpily. Lei knew the man didn't have any rude intentions, and that he was just in a bad mood becaues of the crash. Walking over to the front Control Deck, Lei hesitated before pressing anything. "Hmm..." Oh man, I am way out of my league here. He looked out the front window of this very small Ship into space as noticed an approaching Starship. Suddenly a console started beeping, signifying a hail. Okay, this shouldn't be too hard... Hmm. He pressed a blinking holo-button activating a semi-transparent hovering viewscreen before the window. On it was the strangest alien he had ever seen. '"Greetings,"' the pink and large headed alien said. Behind him were his crew of even more pink and large headed aliens. "Um, hello... What are you?" Lei asked in fear of the sight. '"We are a species called the Bynars, and you are Human. My name is 00."' "Oh alright. Nice to meet you," Lei said finally. '"Are you unknowledgeable of our species?"' 00 asked. "A little," Lei admitted. "I'm actually not from this Century... What year is this again?" '"According to Human standards the Stardate is 58013.4."' "To be honest with you, that doesn't mean a thing to me." 00 glanced at his fellow Bynars in momentary confusion for Lei's confusion. '"The year is 2381,"' he corrected. "Oh! Okay, I see now," Lei glanced away in deep thought for a moment. This was the year after he had recently visited... the year after of his meeting with the one he fell in love with. "Well it looks like I'm back." '"Back?"' 00 asked. "Well, I'm not from this time-period, you see. I'm actually from the 21st Century. Earth to be exact." '"How intriguing."' "Yeah, well, I had a run into a Timeship that just accidentally landed near the outskirts of this City I lived in. There is where I came to board it and before I knew it I was in the 24th Century... Sufficed to say, I came to understand quite a few things about this era." '"But you are still here,"' 00 questioned in uncertainty. "Right! Well of course it was imperative I returned to my time, but when I got back I ran into this guy," Lei pointed his thumb to the back door, "Well, the guy in the Engine Room right now. His name is Darpa; and he and I are trying to track down a few friends we met the last time we were here. But we seem to be having Timeship problems." The Bynars onscreen all nodded to each other, in finally understanding Lei's predicament. '"We shall help you get your vessel running again,"' 00 said. "You will?" Lei widened his eyes at this, "Wow that's great! But why are you going to help me?" '"Your story has intrigued us, and it is in our nature to help others in times of need."' "This is awesome. Just let me tell my companion. I'll call you guys back." 00 bowed his head in acceptance and the screen went out. ----- Down in the Engine Room, Darpa was under a section of the Temporal Drive. He was having a hard time trying to get it going again. "That last jump really made things bad. It's going to take me so long to fix this..." He said as he heard Lei enter the Room. "Don't worry, I have some people who are willing to help us." Lei said. Darpa came out from underneath. "Huh? What are you talking about?" "A ship came near us and I met this species called the Bynars. They agreed to help us get our engine back online," Lei was enthusiastic about his first alien arrangement. "I know the Bynars and they have deceived the Federation once before." "Apparently we're in the same time-frame you're from. The 24th Century!" Darpa looked away for a moment. He suddenly realized he was back in his timeframe. But that didn't help a thing, since the friends he and Lei needed to save were in a completely different time-frame. "Darpa?" The old man got up and placed a laser tool on the control panel nearby. "I don't like the sounds of this." "Trust me. I met them and they're nice. They don't look so good, but they're nice. I'm going to make the arrangements." Lei left Darpa in the Control Room to his thoughts. The old man was still too shocked to find out what time-frame he had fallen into. He was more back to where he started than ever before. ----- The Returner sat in space next to the Bynar starship. In the small Transporter Room of the Returner, beamed in four Bynars. They all looked around the advanced interior in awe. "Welcome aboard the Returner gentlemen," Lei said. "Thank you," 00 nodded as he and the others stepped off. Lei led the way through the small Timeship towards the back-end where the Engine Room would be. "How many Decks do you have?" 00 asked. "Just three," Lei answered. "We're not that big compared to maybe your ship, but we get around." ----- When they entered the Engine Room, they saw Darpa's lower body sticking out from under the Temporal Engine. He was back to work, desperate to get the ship going. "Ugh!" "Darpa, meet the Bynars," Lei said. "Mreh..." he grumbled and continued working. Lei glanced over at the four Bynars and shrugged, "Do you think there's anything you can do?" The Bynars made their way to control panels throughout the Room and started tapping like crazy. They were just fast, and Darpa even stopped working and got up to watch them. "I heard they were fast, but not that fast..." Darpa said in amazement. The Bynars suddenly stopped and glanced at Darpa and Lei. "We must converse for a moment." As all four turned to speak to themselves, Lei and Darpa began backing away in creeped-out-ness. "Well... We'll just be in the Dining Area the Deck below us..." Darpa said. The Bynars didn't even answer and continued talking telepathically to each other. ----- On Deck 2, Lei and Darpa came to a table in a Dining Area at the front of the ship. The window showed a clear view of space and the Bynar Starship. "So what do you think?" Lei asked. "Well they are impressive. I have to admit, I do hope they can fix the Engine," Darpa replied. "I hope so too." There was a faint pause between them as they thought of thier friends. Lei glanced over at Darpa, "Don't worry old man. We'll find them." Darpa nodded, "They are in the future, so it's not like they're going anywhere." Lei looked at a cup of coffee he had replicated. There was someone special he was missing. There was an emptiness in his heart. But the lights suddenly blinked in defection around them. The power to the ship seemed to suddenly distort. Darpa and Lei stood up quickly. "What was that?" Darpa quickly went over to a hovering control panel. He tapped at it, "What!? The Bynars have taken control of the ship!" Lei went for the door, trying to step through, but they didn't even open. "Crap! We're locked in." Darpa scrolled down the control panel menus in desperate search. "Argh! They brought the Warp and Impulse Engines online and are moving us!" Lei shook his head in fear and disappointment. "Darpa to the Engine Room. Bynars, come in!" But there was no response. "What the hell are they doing?" Looking at the windows they noticed the stars moving fast. Darpa checked the panel again and found the ship was headed towards the Bynar's homeworld. "They're taking us back to thier own System!" "Maybe they're going to help us out there?" "If that's true then they would have told us!" The old man urked. "We have to regain control of the Returner, but how?" Lei glanced at the Door. "Well, we have to get through this..." His eyes moved fast in a quick review of possible ways to get through it. Then he just slammed his foot into it. SMACK! --But there wasn't even a dent in the door. "Dammit!" He yelled in pain. But then he got an idea. Darpa watched as Lei went to the replicator and replicated a crowbar. Lei ran up to the door and began prying it open. The door came to understand its function and eventually opened for him. ----- Then Lei ran down the corridor. Darpa caught up just as Lei was scoping out the next corridor. "Hrh! Hrh!" Dapra panted out of breath, "Do you-- Hrh! --even have a weapon?" Lei took out a 9mm Handgun from his side-pants pocket. "Yes." "Wait. Isn't that from your time-period?" "Look, I used to be a Cop, okay?" He then ran down the next corridor, until he made his way to the Engine Room. This Engine Room spanned all three Decks, so he climbed a ladder to the floor above him where the Bynars were. ----- There, he saw three of them working at panels really fast. He jumped to his feet and aimed his gun at them. "Stop right there!" The three Bynars turned to see him, and one of them pulled out a disrupter. A blast was shot at Lei, but Lei fell to his back dodging it while aiming his gun. Lei fired and hit that same Bynar in the shoulder. Pink blood spilled out in mid-air. A Bynar to his right fired another disrupter blast for Lei, but Lei rolled away as it singed the floor, and Lei fired again. That Bynar was hit by a bullet to his chest and fell. The third Bynar didn't have a weapon, but quickly tapped at his panels linking into the Engine. The computers around the Temporal Matrix suddenly over loaded and an electric current shot out towards Lei on purpose. Lei then quickly tapped a code into a device around his forearm and suddenly the current of energy slowed down in mid-flight. In fact, all time around him slowed down. It was slowed, but not stopped. Lei was the only one in normal speed and quickly dodged the current while running over to the other Bynar. When time sped up again, Lei spun that Bynar around and kneed him in the stomach. The Bynar fell to the floor in agony. ----- Lei entered the Control Bridge where the last Bynar was at the Helm, 00. "Thanks for the help," Lei said sarcastically. 00 turned around in shock, "I am sorry but we had no choice." "Oh really? Is that another part of your nature?" "Your vessel has so much advanced capability. We could not pass up the opportunity to advance the Main Computer of our homeworld." "Well in that case, go right on ahead!" "We planned to send you to the time-frame you wished and give you the means to help your friends. We would even return this vessel to you once we learned of its computer technology." "That isn't right, 00. This is our ship and we didn't give you permission to do this!" "We could not take the risk of you knowing. I'm sorry, but now you must go to your Holding Cells," 00 turned to quickly tap at the panels, but Lei quickly tapped at the controls on his arm device just as fast. Time slowed all around him and he ran over to 00, pushing him away from the front Controls. When time sped up again, 00 fell to the floor. "Uh!?" 00 fell back confused. "I'm sorry, but it's you who's going to be leaving." Darpa entered the Control Bridge with an advanced phaser rifle. He aimed it at 00, ready to shoot. "Very well. We will leave... Our... apologies..." 00 said. Then all the Bynars on the Returner beamed out. The Bynar Vessel traveling at Warp along side them suddenly dropped out. When all was done, Darpa and Lei approached the Control Deck. They brought the Returner out of Warp to a full stop. "I can't believe this... They have revived the technology around the Warp and Impulse Engine Systems!" The old man exclaimed in amazement. Lei took at seat at the Control Deck and slouched back. "I was so stupid... I can't believe I let them board our ship." Darpa took the other seat next to him and swung around to face. "Ah, don't beat yourself up for it. It was an honest mistake." "But I was so naive. From now on, we shouldn't let anybody board our ship!" "I agree to that," the old man turned to check the systems again. "What's the status of the Temporal Engines?" Lei asked. A few hovering buttons popped up and fell down through Darpa's scrolling of the systems. "They're more than just offline. The technology has been blown apart. Our crash helped that; not to mention that overload the Bynars did to it earlier." "Dammit!" Lei turned and punched an outstretched wall area. He then calmed himself and sighed... "So we're stuck here?" "Until I can find a way to fix it." They looked out into space in deep thought for a moment. "Don't worry," Darpa continued. "They're in the future. It's not like they're going anywhere." Lei nodded, "You're right." But the thought of being alone hurt Lei more than ever. Would he ever see her again? Would he even meet anyone like her again? Lei just continued to stare out into the stars as Darpa turned to get to work. What the hell is out there...? |

"How did you survive??" Sith questioned.
The Wraith smiled, "Why, you of course. When you sent me away, you didn't send me back to the distant realm... just merely a subspace realm." He chuckled evilly, "Perhaps it was your limited mortality that wasn't able to outcast me properly, or perhaps it was something within you that wanted me to remain here in this universe."
The Wraith narrowed his eyes.
"If that is so, then you may not be as pathetic as I thought. In fact, I may be able to accept a considerable amount of respect for you," the Wraith continued.
"Then all this time, you've been building your power. You've been attempting reclaim your strength," Sith realized. "Otherwise you would have come for me sooner."
"I'll never understand why my Alliance fell to your Federation, but that's all cookie crumbs now. After I claim victory over the revenge against you, I'll retake this Quadrant and-- oh, I think I'll start with destroying that space station you've retreated to so many times... Starbase 001."
Sith clenched his fist tighter, and stanced out ever more ready. "How about we just settle for that pretty face of yours and we'll call it even?"
The demoic Wraith lent in, stancing out just as ready. "You crack-wise, but can you wise-crack?"
After that confusing banter was over, the tall Wraith began running for Sith. Sith didn't hesitate to run towards as well. They both lept a kick at each other, but Sith transformed his speed into a rotation. He used his other leg to actually kick accross the Wraith at thier mid-air meeting point.
The Wraith flipped to the side, but landed himself feet first on the ground. Sith landed and dodged a sudden incoming knee from the Wraith. As the Wraith got so close, the Wraith punched Sith in the shoulder with extreme strength.
"Click, chirp!" Zeta had already lept from behind the Wraith, with eight spread legs jamming into the Wraith's back. As Sith was hitting the ground from the previous attack, the Wraith and Zeta were flying over him to hit the ground a few meters away.
Sith flipped to his front and watched as the Wraith screamed in pain, "Yyeeaarrrghhh!!!" The Wraith charged his power and shocked Zeta off him. The giant spider went flying back, as Sith ran to his feet and lept a kick to the Wraith's face.
The Wraith dodged back, and grabbed Sith's leg, swinging Sith around. The Wraith threw Sith into the air, and then jumped after him. As the Wraith was speeding towards an already flying Sith, Sith adjusted his stance to block the incoming attack.
A multi-kick was closing in on Sith, to which Sith redirected each leg with his forearms. When the angle was open, Sith grabbed the Wraith's left leg and pulled the Wraith in for a jab into its face. They both landed on the ground, where Zeta suddenly attached as many as eight thick cables into the Wraith's back and sides.
The cables clamped on and pulled the Wraith off the ground again, "Arrggh!!!" Sith lept up and multi-kicked for the Wraith, to which only half the foot attacks were blocked and redirected by an annoyed being. The Wraith powered his structure and blasted the clamps off him. He turned in mid air and blasted a surge of energy at Zeta on the ground.
Zeta was severly injured and sent back a hundred meters. When both Sith and the Wraith landed, they continued kicking and punching for each other. Sith grew long spikes out of his robotic arm and slashed through the Wraith's chest.
Black blood flung out, to which Sith forced himself to dodge back. As he was leaning back, the Wraith extended his boney arms and bent his elbows uncharacteristically backwards in order to jab for Sith's distancing head. Sith grabbed the incoming unnatrual fist, and tried to hold the force. From the backward bent arm, came more and more Wraith energy attempting to push the leaning Sith into the ground.
"AAaauughh!!" Wind and power pushed into his blocking palms, while the Wraith brought around his other arm. But Zeta grabbed it back from an extreme distance with extended cables. The growing energy for Sith was unwantedly distributed onto Zeta aswell.
"You've failed, mortal!!!" The Wraith yelled in struggle, as he was forced to call upon even more energy. In his state, he was unable to bring out as much power as he once had long ago.
Two sudden tentacles grew out of the Wraith's stomach in a final attempt, and slashed Sith in the shoulders. His own blood flung out as he began to lose strength and the Wraith's aggrivation and power peaked. A shockwave between them, sent them both flying back.
THUD!
Sith gripped his head in major pain. He didn't know if he was even going to live from this. The pain was just too much, when suddenly he felt someone's hand on his arm.
"Are you alright?" The voice was female, and somewhat familliar.
"Julia...?" Sith put all his strength into looking up at her. She seemed to glow for a moment from the over-exposed white clouds in the sky.
"Sith," she smiled reassuringly. "Everything's okay."
Julia helped Sith to his struggling feet, as they saw the Wraith still unconscious in the distance. Zeta was slowly making his way over to them.
"How are you here?" Sith asked.
Julia smiled again, emitting a warmth that Sith could only feel in his heart. "Some of us had to return. We weren't strong enough to survive in the distant realm..." she glanced over at the Wraith, "I didn't know where to find you, so we manipulated the Wraith into acting upon his motivations of revenge. I'm sorry it came so close."
Sith took a moment to register what she had explained. In the end, it was worth it. He felt glad she did what she did.
"Thanks," he replied lightly.
She looked down, unhappy for a moment, "I really wanted to see you again... but I'm eventually going to have to return to the Prophets."
"Then take me with you," Sith suggested without hesitation.
"But what about your life here?"
Sith shook his head slightly, "I don't care."
Julia knew she could take Sith back, but Zeta was another story. "What about your best friend?" Julia smiled.
Sith patted Zeta on the back upon approach, "Zeta..." He just realized he'd have to leave Zeta behind.
Zeta nudged Sith away, telling him that he actually wanted Sith to go. Zeta knew how important it was for him, and Sith smiled understandingly.
Zeta stepped back as Sith glanced over to Julia.
A light began to form around the two of them and before Sith knew it, he began to feel an existence beyond words or comprehension.
For now, he was with his true love.

Sith ran and ran, through room after room. It was beggining to look like there were no corridors at all on this ship. As he was running, an Android from one room would launch a spring-kick at him. Sith quickly lept higher than the kick and kicked the Android first himself. The Android would crash back through some equipment, allowing Sith to deal with the next threat.
But the next room opted for something different... as Sith came to notice a giant robotic Spider. "Zeta!" He recognized. The Commander ran over and began studying the wires plugged into the robot. When he realized that they were just analytical interface's, he unplugged them, awaking Zeta.
"Click!?" Zeta blurted as usual, still having the limitations in vocal communication.
"Are you alright?" Sith asked. "They must've beamed you aboard too, since you're one of them."
"Chirp, one of them," Zeta mimicked.
Sith quickly checked a small device on his arm; an Omnicronian transporter inhibitor. He activated it, and glanced over at the spider. "This should prevent them from any surprises," he said.
Just then, from the five doors the room had, five Androids stepped through. They each aimed an unfolded disrupter cannon from thier fore-arms.
"Do not move," one of the Androids ordered.
Sith glanced over at Zeta, who launched five large metallic cables from its back out into all directions. Each of the cables arched accross the room and pierced through the upper-bodies of the Androids as they fired thier disrupters too late. They all were forced to the floor, blasting the walls and cielings unexpectedly.
Zeta electrocuted the Androids, as Sith dodged falling panels and debris. When it was over, Zeta cut the cables and ran out the room with Sith.
They both stopped, suddenly being confronted by the lead Android... the Captain.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am known as Hetekin."
"Well you're about to be known as floor debris..." Sith replied as he was forced to stand so close to the Android.
He lept back, giving some room between them, and taking a stance. Hetekin just walked over to a console and activated the holographic view-screen. On it was a view of a planet, "This is Kintoka. I assume you've been here before?"
Sith stood up normally and looked at the state of the planet. It seemed alright, compared to when he last been here. "Yeah. The Federation helped free the Human slaves on it during the War."
"Well, I am here to inform you it is the home of the Wraith. He exists within a subspace realm, in a coporeal state."
"What??" Sith stepped forward in shock. "But he was killed, long ago!"
Sith thought back to the days the Prohpets and Pah'Wraiths descended to the mortal realm due to constant fighting with each other. Thier powerful battles, going beyond anything a starship could handle... and then he remembed Julia. The female Prophet he helped and fell in love with.
They both had put a stop to this Wraith in particular, in thier final moments together. They were sure he outcasted with all the other Prohpets and Pah'Wraiths when they returned to another more distant realm.
"I want to talk to him," Sith demanded.
"We were programmed to transport you to the surface," the Android said hopelessly. He hoped that Sith would deactivate the inhibiter.
Sith knew that that was what Hetekin was waiting for. Zeta glanced over at Sith as the Commander took the risk that this wasn't all just a trick and deactivated the device on his arm. "Allow the spider to come with me," Sith ordered again.
Hetekin was about to run the transporter when he heard this order. He hesitated for a moment.
"You people owe me that much... a simple request from a patient you once helped back into health. I think I recognize you." In Sith mind, the image of Hetekin stood over his operating bed, trying to fix the fatal injuries he suffered from the accident on Omnicron Theta. The Alliance War nearly cost him his life.
Hetekin nodded and transported Sith and Zeta to the surface of Kintoka.
They found themselves in a grey a wide field of dirt and patches of dead grass. As far as the eye could see, there were mountains and a distant city. From here, he could tell the city was in ruins. "Valecron..."
The grey clouds racked lightning overhead, as they waited for the Wraith to show himself.
"Click?" Zeta blurted through the silence.
"I don't know..." Sith said.
Suddenly another shock of lightning struck above them, and they found themseves surrounded by all the Bajoran Orbs. Looking around, Sith saw that they were still dead; as they had been for the past few years.
"These were reported stolen last year," Sith looked at them. "The Bajoran Government thought it was anarchists that took them..."
"Close," a dark voice said from behind.
When Sith and Zeta turned they saw the Wraith... he had taken form; a tall boney creature with deteriorating skin. Its head, demonic, and as evil as it was the first day Sith met him.
Sith clenched his fist in anger. It was just like old times.

Sith awoke in a terrible blur. He felt as if a transporter beam knocked him out. When he came to, he found he was on a medical bed in a shady Lab of some sort. Rubbing his head, he came to and sat up.
"The patient has awoken," a strange voice said from the other side of the room. When the man, walked over, it was obvious he was an Android. "My name is Kerikin. I come from the planet Omnicron Theta."
Sith looked at the half shelled Android, looking at features unsolicited. "Where... where am I? The last thing I remember is that I was on 001?"
"You were," he said. "We simply beamed you out without notice... being a race of Android's, our technology far exceeds anything you can comprehend."
"I've seen your homeworld. I think I have a pretty good idea how far your technology can go... and how to counteract it." Sith held up his arm, revealing the fact it was a mechanical replacement. "You did this to me, didn't you?"
"One of my people, I suppose. You're welcome for saving your life, by the way."
Sith felt a conflicting of emotions, as he came to realize the truth as it was; they really did have the intentions of helping him back then. "Alright, I'm willing to admit I've always been kind of hard on what you people did to me. But that was the past," he glanced over. "So what do you want with me now?"
"Actually, the whole crew has been reprogrammed to capture and transfer you to Kintoka. We do not know the reasons why, or who reprogrammed us."
"If you know that, then why are you still doing it?"
"We cannot go against our own programming. It would be a violation."
"You're sentient beings, far more advanced than any Androids in the galaxy... you must have the ability for free will? Especially since you're conscious of your actions and thier reprecussions??"
"It is not that simple. Of course we have free will, but this reprogramming lies deep within our protocols. There are some things even we can't change in ourselves."
Sith shook his head, "I just don't get it! If you want to stop, just stop the ship!"
"You misunderstand, the reprogramming goes as far as to create a desire to complete this unknown mission. It overshadows any desire to change that desire and so on. Therefore, any desire's not to complete the mission come second to that priority reprogramming. It is impossible to alter it."
Sith jumped off the bed, frustrated. "Fine. Whatever! I'll just leave, myself."
Kerikin stepped over and approached Sith. "I don't think you'll be going anywhere."
"Am I going to have to reprogram you to let me go?" Sith said sarcastically.
Suddenly, Kerikin launched a fist towards Sith, who instinctively blocked with his mechanical arm and pushed Kerikin away with the same arm. Kerikin took a few steps back to retain his balance, and shock.
"How do you know to do that?" Kerikin asked.
"Starfleet training," Sith replied annoyed at the sudden lapse back into conversation. "If you're an Android, then shouldn't you be a little faster than that?"
"That was fast," Kerikin said.
Sith eyed him, confused. He was sure Kerkin was capable of going faster. So he attacked again to find out. He launched his mechanical left arm for Kerikin's head, and Kerikin dodged to the right. The Android knocked the arm away and began jabbing repeatedly for Sith's upper body. But Sith dodged his waist to the right and then left, and with space began blocking all the attacks with his arm.
Kerikin powered his arms and launched a full straight on force of fists at Sith. Sith quickly leaped above the fists before they could reach him, and while using the outstretched arms as a base to hold himself up... he spun himself around capoeira style so that his mechanical legs would swing around and smack Kerikin in the side of the head.
Kerikin was knocked to the side, as Sith used him one last time to remain above. Sith came down with powered legs towards the floored Android, but Kerikin immediately twisted himself to the side as to avoid it. Sith broke through the floor plating upon landing. Shattered pieces popped up into the air from his reinforced feet.
"You're good," Kerikin stumbled to his feet while clasping his electrofied head. He was starting to lose his vision.
"I get it now..." Sith said. "You all must have different models. Some faster, some slower... some smarter. You're just like organics, with faults."
"Quite observant, Human! But you fail to realize one thing... this vessel is crewed by Androids; and I know of a few that can take you down. I've already called them," Kerikin threatened.
Sith shook his head. He had to get off the ship before he would be killed. He immedaitely ran for the doors and kicked right through them. He continued running through more Lab Rooms, with the possibility for survival extremely low.
